Mary Kelley
My name is Mary Kelley. I am a fourth generation Californian and have lived in Modesto all of my life. I attended Modesto Junior College for my A.A. degree and then transferred to California State Univeristy, Stanislaus. Graduated from Stanislaus with a B.A. in History and Liberal Studies. The following year I completed my Multiple Subject Credential also at Stanislaus. I have worked at New Jerusalem School since 2005 teaching 3rd grade. I enjoy working at New J because I know most of the students by first name. I also value the excellent teachers and staff I work with every day. Our supportive community is a huge benefit as well. I feel blessed to be a part of this wonderful school. Teaching is the most rewarding and most challenging occupation in the world. When I have the energy, I enjoy socializing with friends, cooking and baking, craft projects, painting, reading, hiking in the mountains and relaxing on the beach.
