New Jerusalem Elementary School is located in the middle of a vast agricultural area in southern San Joaquin County near the city of Tracy, CA.  The school was founded in 1876 when Henry Ebe, a German Baptist farmer, donated the land for the first schoolhouse.  This was the beginning of a long tradition of quality education. New Jerusalem School reflects the area’s strong sense of community.  Many of the grandparents, and even great-grandparents, of today’s students attended NJS.  Both parents and the community as a whole strongly support the teachers, administration, Board and staff.  For more information about our school you can read our school_profile or contact our office at 835-2597.
